Lincoln Memorial Cemetery is located in Suitland, Md., just a half mile from the District of Columbia line. The cemetery consists of 100 acres, which contain a columbarium, lawn crypt garden, private estates and our newly built community mausoleum.

The first burial took place in 1929. Many prominent African-Americans are buried in our park, including Dr. Charles Richard Drew, noted for establishing plasma during World War II, Nannie Helen Burroughs, educator and civil rights activist, and Judge Carlisle Drew, appeals court judge. Educators, politicians, historians, and even a baseball Hall of Fame member are included in our burials. A statue and mausoleum dedicated to Bishop McCullough of the United House of Prayer is a feature to our grounds.

This beautiful 100 acre cemetery is located six miles southeast from Washington D.C. The Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, established in 1929, is the resting place for many of our nation’s forefathers. If you are looking for a Suitland Cemetery, Takoma Park cemetery or Washington D.C cemetery then you should definitely consider the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
